Grease Traps

Do I need a grease trap?

If you manufacture, sell or prepare food then you need a grease trap. It’s hard enough to start a business or relocate one and then on top of it all, having the worry of which grease trap you need.

We’re experts in grease trap supply and installation and understand all the legalities and compliances you will need to be aware of. How to choose the right size Grease Trap (also known as a Grease Interceptor) depends on how much greasy water volume you’ll produce.

Capturing fats and greasy wastewater prevents problems that may affect your business functions and protects our sewerage system.

Grease Trap Installation

Citi Industries selects the right grease trap for your business and can take care of the hydraulic design, supply and installation.

We’ll assess and confirm the size of the grease trap that is right for your business and the placement of your grease trap. Citi Industries knows, meets and fulfils all standards of local city councils and water authorities plus we install a backflow prevention device with each grease trap.

All the grease traps we supply are quality products with a manufacturers’ warranty so you have years of trouble-free operation and no unpleasant smells for your clients and staff.

A grease trap cost is an investment in your business to legally comply with authority rules and protect the sewerage system. You want a quality product that will work away silently so you can get on with running your business without costly repairs or re-installation if you choose inferior products.

Grease Trap Installation And

Not sure where to start? Don’t worry because you can trust Citi Industries to install your grease trap the right way with our highly experienced licensed trade wastewater plumbing professionals.

We install all grease traps methodically so wastewater drains into the grease trap then into the sewer. If this doesn’t suit your establishment, then we can fit it to flow into an under-sink pump or pump well. The grease trap will drain into the pump well and then pump the wastewater from there into the sewerage system.

Our plumbers connect the inlet to the grease trap and ensure there is a minimum of one-metre clear space to provide access to monitor the grease trap so that you are able to open the grease trap lids so it can be maintained and serviced.

We can create your hydraulic plumbing design, supply or install your grease trap or you can simply hand your full project over to us! This way you trust it’s handled professionally and you can get back to more important business.
