Citi Industries recently completed a Sewer Drainage Upgrade at a residence in Norman Park, Queensland. The project involved upgrading below-ground drainage systems, enhancing venting, and improving laundry plumbing. With several plumbing challenges present, Citi Industries provided efficient solutions to ensure long-term results.
Problems Faced by the Client
The client was dealing with outdated and ineffective drainage systems. The existing setup lacked proper ventilation, causing slow drainage. Additionally, the laundry water supply was too low, leading to inconvenience. The client needed a reliable drainage solution that could resolve these issues while adhering to local regulations.
Solutions Provided by Citi Industries
Citi Industries performed a thorough assessment and began the Sewer Drainage Upgrade by connecting the drainage to the below-ground system. The team installed a new ORG, linked to the laundry tub drain, and placed a stack for fixtures on the first level of the house. They ran a new vent up the side of the home past the roofline to improve ventilation.
Moreover, an elevated drain line was installed, running to the sink on the left side of the house. Citi Industries also raised the laundry water supply by 200mm, refitting it to a column over the laundry tub. Finally, a Form 4 was submitted to the State Government along with as-constructed drawings for the QBCC.
Result of the Project
As a result of this Sewer Drainage Upgrade, the client experienced improved drainage and ventilation throughout the house. The elevated laundry water supply now ensures easy access and convenience. Citi Industries successfully resolved the plumbing issues and provided long-term solutions, ensuring the system meets all local regulations.
